Groups and Branches prepare for ABI week

With local authority cuts threatening the ability of NITBIF to provide support to those affected by brain injury, it has never been more important for Groups and Branches to shout about the vital role they play in supporting vulnerable people within their communities.

Local campaigning will be varied, depending on the issues being faced in each region. Activity will include NITBIF demonstrating the impact cuts are already having, while highlighting how reducing support to charities like NITBIF flies in the face of the government's Big Society concept.

As always, ABI Week is also an opportunity to celebrate the excellent work of the charity at a local and national level and there will be a host of fun and exciting events taking place across the country - including the return of Hats for NITBIF Day on 13 May.
